The annual Women’s Retreat is a time for the women of the Lake City Campus to relax and rejuvenate, while building relationships with women from all stages of life

This year on January 15th and 16th, we’ll escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and travel to Suncadia Resort, located just two hours east of Seattle on the banks of the Cle Elum River on the slopes of the Cascade Mountains. This quiet, peaceful get-away offers beautiful accommodations, pool, hot tub, full-service spa and general feeling of peace and pampering. Stay with other ladies in comfortable guestrooms in the resort and get to know each other, learn with each other, and have some fun. Who knows, you may even get a full night of sleep!

As women desiring to serve the Lord and bless His people, we often face the temptation of discontent and the plague of an anxious heart. And yet, we long to overcome that discontent and allow God to replace it with the peace He promises in His Word. This retreat will provide a time to pause and reflect, listen to teaching from the Word of God, hear testimonies, participate in workshops designed to guide us together toward the practical application of what we know and learn, talk and laugh with one another, and raise our voices to the Lord in praise. We are a church body made up of wonderfully diverse women all with the same commonality…Jesus! This will be an amazing time to grow as Godly women.

In addition to teaching, we’ll have plenty of other optional activities for you to enjoy during your free time, as well as time to think and rest in some needed quiet time.

Registration will be open until December 15th and space is limited, so be encouraged to commit as soon as you can!
Please bring your favorite dessert to share on Friday night.  If you wish to participate in the wine tasting, bring a bottle of your favorite wine (or sparkling cider) or a wedge of your favorite cheese to share while we relax and enjoy conversation and tasty treats.  Also, you may bring a table game to share or that craft project you’ve been hoping for some extended time to finish.

Friday January 15th

4-6pm: Early Check-in for those who make spa appointments early in the day

6-7pm: Check-in

7:30-9pm: Session One

9pm: Free Time (Wine & Cheese tasting, Games, Crafts)

Saturday January 16th

8-8:30am: Check-in

8-9am: Breakfast

9-10:30am: Session Two

10:30am-12pm: Quiet Time

12-1pm: Lunch

1-2:30pm: Session Three

2:30-5pm: Free Time (Schedule individual spa treatments at this time or join us for an exercise/relaxation session)

5:30-6:30pm: Dinner

6:30-8pm: Session Four

Cost

• The cost of the retreat is $100 per person. The cost is the same for ladies planning on attending Saturday only.
• Scholarships are available but are limited to a first come first serve basis. If you desire to attend but your finances make it very difficult, you can request a discounted rate by emailing your situation to lakecitywomen@marshillchurch.org
• Use of the pool and fitness center are included in the price of the retreat, however spa services and other activities are available at your expense.

Optional Saturday Night

• If you would like to spend Saturday night as well, you will need to contact Suncadia and reference our retreat to get the same discounted group rate. 4-person rooms are $130.90 per night.
• If you would like to split a room with someone for the second night, email lakecitywomen@marshillchurch.org and we can help get you in touch with potential roommates.

Meals

• Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are provided on Saturday. Meals for Friday evening should be brought or purchased on your own.

Other Info

• Nursing infants are welcome, but mothers will need to provide for their sleeping needs. Please request room buddies who know you will be bringing your infant with you.
