Last month around 70 people from Lake City got together at Matthews Beach for some time of fellowship, enjoying God’s creation, and to dig into some barbecue.  It was great to see the family of God coming together and enjoy the many blessings that He has given us.  Whether it be the messy faces of kids, playing volleyball with friends, or simply the food we had to eat.  God was glorified and we were given the joy.

Coming up on Wednesday August, 19th at 6:00PM, we’ll be doing it all over again.  If you’re new to Mars Hill, it’s a great, low pressure way to get to know the people that make up the church and the leaders of the church.  If you’re a regular attender or member of Mars Hill, it’s a great time to relax with family and invest in each other.  It’s also a great opportunity to show those that don’t know Christ, that being a Christian isn’t following a set of rules but rather following a great man and a great God and because of that we party.
