Seafair Weekend | volunteer to bless our community
It’s time to live out our love of community and investing in the lives of those around us, party-style. August 1st is the Lake City Festival, best known for the Pioneer Days Street Fair and Car Show, capped with an annual parade. Last year Mars Hill helped out with volunteers and leadership. This year, help is needed again, a fantastic way to show up and love our community and enjoy the day and activities alongside our neighbors.
You can help out for a volunteer shift and then stay for the Kiddie Parade & Grand Parade in the evening. There is a salmon feed, a pizza eating contest, live music, and lots more. For volunteers, they’ll have snacks at the chamber office during the festival. (12345 Lake City Wy NE). As of today, they need 20 more people to cover the shifts. Theresa Catt is the Volunteer Director of Pioneers Days and volunteers are needed for 3 hour shifts throughout the day.
